Here we go again. We have tortured, we have murdered, we made a genocide and we stop at nothing... Now the Turks are getting ready to strike again to ‘’Kurdish Rebels’’.
But who are these ‘’Kurdish Rebels?’’
Do they look like the ones that crash planes in big cities of USA? Or maybe they have a resemblance with ETA terrorists that bombed public places? Well it’s the same chaos and pain when a citizen of Turkish Rupublic dies because of a land mine in rural areas or after a bomb explosion in the bus stop. So let’s get things straight PKK is a terrorist organization killing innocents for more than 20 years.
So...What is all the fuss about? After 9/11 we thought that ‘’OK now EVEN Americans understand that if you don’t fight terrorism as a whole, it hits you back no matter where you are’’. But we only fooled ourselves that’s for sure. Not to mention the American and European weapons that PKK use, nobody even cared about Turkish civilian deaths. It becomes a tragedy when one of ‘’YOU’’ gets hurt i suppose.
If we are in a war against terror then why does it bother some people ? After all US youth is dying all-over the planet in this war, miles and miles away from their home country. PKK camps are only minutes away to our borders.
OH SWEET BED-TIME STORIES ...
Another humanitarian approach comes from our charming neighbour Armenia.Instead of uniting against terrorism they say.. ‘’Let’s deal with a 100 year old tale first, as the Turkish civilians and soldiers keep on dying.’’ What a lovely and sincere way of showing their sympathy against terrorism.
We see such intelligence in their other example of forcing parliaments to vote and decide for historical events. Yes my dear reader, nowadays politicians decide what happened hundred years ago and they are far better at reading things than their ancestors. What do i mean? Let me explain...
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... (That means in 1920-21 in Malta Island) a court has been set up by the English to decide and judge the Turks about what happened in 1915 about Armenians. Let’s give some more detail about this court. Ottoman foreign minister, minister of defense , chief of parliament and many important bureaucrats and soldiers have been judged there. And since the British army occupied Istanbul (the capital city) at those times they had all the necessary documents and evidence to bring this subject to light. But what happened? Although they had their ‘’Bluebook’’ (which is a propaganda document against Turks) and all the access to officers, ministers and our archives plus their own archives, the court has been dismissed. Because all this genocide mumbo-jumbo was a lie. I believe this is a shocking end to our story.
Since then the story goes on and on . It was hundreds of thousands at the beginning. Ten years ago Armenians were saying 500.000 people died. Now they say 1.500.000 people. I guess somewhere some nasty Turks have found their nest and destroying their eggs (Well who can blame me for making jokes about a bed-time story) As i said before modern politicians are better at these things. They decide and vote for a genocide without knowing what really happened.
FROM SPANISH KING FERDINAND TO SADDAM HUSSEIN (A brief look at the parts of history that nobody enjoys)
Well actually i really enjoy it. Don’t want to lie to you. The first one is about Spanish King Ferdinand who decides to get rid of all the jews and muslims in his country. Why do i enjoy this horrible fact? Because my ancestors (The Ottomans) were the only ones that sent ships to those in need. Many people escaped from the christian inquisition thanks to our navy. No matter jew or christian we would do the same thing today. How do i know ? Because we did this a lot of times.
For instance... In the weakest era of Ottoman Empire (1849) the Sultan decided to protect thousands of Hungarian and Polish refugee against Russian and Austrian oppression. At that time Sultan said ‘’I would give my throne, i would give my head but i never give people who take shelter in my country’’
Well i loved remembering that stuff.(Excuse my self-satisfaction) Let me give more examples. But this time being humanitarian really damages our national benefits.
*Accepting refugees from communist Russia didn’t make things easy for us.
*Or accepting Jewish people during the second world war against German danger at our borders.
*Maybe 4.000 Afghan refugees escaping from Soviet Russia might be another good example.
*During Bulgaria’s Jivkov regime 300.000 people are warmly accepted by Turks.
*Many people escaped from Serbian killings by coming to Turks.
But one of my favourite one is about accepting 300.000 – 360.000 people from Iraq when all of the ‘’civilized’’ nations were giving ‘’advice’’. Saddam Hussein made a proposal to kill all the Kurds together. Did we accept? NO!! We simply opened our border gates and took those people in. We didn’t forget Halepce massacre but apperently PKK and the ‘’civilized’’ nations did. What a disgrace for the humanity. Did one of you take a single person to your countries during that massacre? This is a sad question.
VERY NICE KEBAP... EXOTIC BELLY DANCER
Well many things i wrote. Hopefully you read them all unprejudiced. We always say that we want to live in peace. We want everybody to live in peace. Of course every nation has some dirt in it’s hand. But as we always say, we have less dirt compared to other nations. Genocide is not a sin that we should pray to God to forgive us. But i think some people should begin confessing for their lies.
At the bottom line we are pretty determined to get rid of this PKK terrorism that took thousands of people’s lives and caused more than $300 billion damage to Turkish Republic. I hope some of you cares. We are not eating kebap and watching belly-dancers every day. We are losing sons and daughters every day for more than 20 years.
May God help everyone who acts against terrorism.
